Experience
I have worked at UCO since June 2014, holding multiple positions within Housing & Residential Engagement. As the current assistant director of Planning and Operations, I oversee housing occupancy and the 24 hour desk operation, as well as the department's strategic planning, assessment and evaluation, and process improvement. I thoroughly enjoy coming to work everyday as I have the privilege of working amongst staff dedicated to serving students. I constantly strive to better myself and those around me, and I am passionate about providing a positive and transformative experience for our students.
Education and Certifications
I completed my undergraduate degree in 1998, a B.S. from the University of Maryland, while living oversees. Years later, I returned to the classroom to earn my M.B.A from UCO, graduating with honors, in 2018.
I hold certifications in UCO's Management Development Program, Project Management, and I am currently working toward my ACUHO-I Certification in Housing Assessment.
Professional and Community Involvement
I am currently serving my third year as a UCO Staff Senator. I am extremely proud to play a role in the accomplishments of this organization, especially the faculty and staff joint bill that increased employees' tuition benefit over the next several years. I am also a member of Leadership Edmond's 35th class and look forward to new experiences serving my community.
Interests
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband Kent, a retired Army First Sergeant, now OKC Firefighter, my son Bailey (20), and my daughter Emma (16). I love to travel, read, go to concerts, and try new restaurants around our beautiful city.
