Experience

Kelly Vaughn has worked at UCO since June 2014, holding multiple positions within Housing and Residential Engagement and now Facilities. As the current director of facilities administration, she oversees the facilities business and contract team, monitors and forecasts utility spending and usage, and works to ensure the university runs efficiently and with the utmost fiscal responsibility. Vaughn is tenacious and never passes up an opportunity to improve daily, whether in business or personal growth. 

Education and Certifications

While living overseas, Vaughn completed her undergraduate degree in 1998, a B.S. from the University of Maryland. Years later, she returned to the classroom to earn an MBA from UCO, graduating with honors, in 2018.

Vaughn has graduated from several local leadership programs, including UCO's Management Development Program, Leadership UCO and Leadership Edmond. 

Professional and Community Involvement

Vaughn serves on the board for Edmond Women's Club, www.ewc.org, a group that volunteers within the community and raises funds to support Edmond's nonprofit programs and a scholarship program for graduating seniors and adult learners. 

She is also on the board for the HOPE Center. 

Interests

In her spare time, Vaughn loves to travel, read, go to concerts and try new restaurants around our beautiful city.
