Daniel Smith serves as the Director of Photographic Services providing content for more than 40 campus clients. He supervises two staff photographers and curates a collection of university photographs that dates from 1978 to the present. Originally from Tulsa, he moved to Edmond to work as a staff photographer at the Edmond Sun newspaper. Daniel's work has been published in national newspapers and many Oklahoma newspapers. He has taught beginning and advanced photography classes as an adjunct instructor at Oklahoma City Community College, Oklahoma City University and the University of Central Oklahoma.

Honors and Awards

Daniel's photographs have won many awards from state and regional organizations including the Oklahoma Press Association, Council for Advancement and Support of Education, College Sports Information Directors of America, Oklahoma City Advertising Club ADDYs and Oklahoma College Public Relations Association.
