Important Update:

About

Bambi Hora, J.D., is chairperson of the Department of Accounting and teaches mostly tax. She has taught here at the University of Central Oklahoma for more than 25 years.

Classes Taught

Hora generally teaches Taxation for Individuals. She also has taught Accounting 1 and 2, Cost, Managerial for Non-Accounting Majors, Governmental and Non-Profit, Corporate Taxation, Trust and Estate Taxation, and Non-profit Leadership.

Professional and Community Involvement

Hora enjoys working with students in clubs, organizations, and projects. She is a co-sponsor of the Accounting Club, Ethics Club, and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.

She is a member of the Oklahoma Society of CPA's, the Oklahoma Bar Association, the American Accounting Association (and several subsections), and the North American Accounting Society.

Hora currently holds position of treasure for NAAS, DMD International, and is the Council representative for the Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum section of the AAA.

Interests

Outside of work, Hora enjoys traveling, baking, Girl Scouts, and watching most any type of sports.
