Adrienne Nobles

About
Adrienne Nobles, APR, brings more than 20 years of experience in public relations, marketing and communications to her role as Vice President for Communications and Public Affairs at the University of Central Oklahoma. She previously served as the Assistant Vice President for University Communications, managing the news bureau, serving as a media liaison and spokesperson, and directing the creative development of advertising, marketing and branding initiatives. Her work has earned numerous state and regional honors, including the 2015 Natalea Watkins Communicator of the Year award from the Oklahoma College Public Relations Association. She also serves the university as an adjunct professor in the Mass Communication department. Her past experience includes public relations and marketing work for the UCO Foundation, Central's College of Arts, Media and Design (now Fine Arts and Design), and TAParchitecture. A graduate of Western Kentucky University's School of Journalism and Broadcasting, Adrienne also worked in radio and television broadcasting as an anchor, reporter, and producer in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. She also holds a Master of Public Administration from UCO. Adrienne is an active community volunteer, having served in various capacities for the Junior League of Oklahoma City, Alpha Gamma Delta International Fraternity, Edmond Mobile Meals, the Oklahoma City chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition, OKC Museum of Art, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma City, Arts Council of OKC, deadCenter Film Festival, among others. She also is a commissioner on the Oklahoma Commission for Community Service. She was named the 2015 Woman of the Year for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Oklahoma Chapter, raising more than $37,000 to support treatment and research for blood cancers, and is a member of Leadership Oklahoma City Signature Class 36.
