Important Update:

The University of Central Oklahoma physical campus will be closed to all but essential employees beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 26, through at least April 15. An Oklahoma native, Jerod grew up in Guymon and now resides in Edmond.

Jerod spent two years at Colby Community College in Colby, KS, where he ran cross-country and track & field.  He earned All-American honors in the 3000m Steeplechase at the 2005 NJCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

After completion of his A.A. in Psychology, Jerod moved to Edmond to attend UCO, where he completed his B.S. in Kinesiology (2007) and M.S. in Wellness Management (2011). He previously wrote grants for the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma, prior to five years in manufacturing before joining UCO’s College of Liberal Arts.

Jerod enjoys spending time with his wife (Jessica) and kids (Kyley & Kort). They have one dog (Sadie). As a grant writer, Jerod is excited at expanding as many avenues within the College of Liberal Arts from outside funding sources.
