About

William McCormick, Ed.D., has worked at Central since 2003 in the divisions of Enrollment Management, Student Affairs and Operations. He currently serves as the director of ID and Access Services and special assistant for Operations, providing leadership for Campus Card Services, Access Control and Security Technology on campus. ID and Access Services is responsible for administering Central’s campus onecard system, physical access control, electronic access control and video surveillance technology. McCormick also serves as a project manager and special assistant for the assistant vice president and vice president of Operations, assisting with initiatives ranging from divisional assessment to campus master planning, to legislative and regulatory affairs.

Research, Published Work, and Scholarly Activities

McCormick has degrees in history and education, including a doctorate in aviation and space education from Oklahoma State University, where he conducted research on the history, operations and budgetary structure of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Office of STEM Engagement and related education initiatives.
