Dr. Duke has been an educator for over thirty years. He has served as interim dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies (August 2021-Present), associate dean (August 2019-July 2021), assistant dean/director of Educator Preparation (January 2012-July 2019), department chair of Educational Sciences, Foundations, and Research (July 2010-June 2012), and faculty member in ESFR (formerly known as Professional Teacher Education) since August 2002. Prior to joining UCO, he was an English teacher at Brink Junior High (1991-1994) and Westmoore High School (1994-1996/1997-2002) and an assistant principal at Moore West Junior High (1996-1997) and the district's Night Alternative School (1995-1996/1997-1999), all in Moore Public Schools (OK).
