Jamie Dunnington, Ph.D.
Associate Professor
About
Jamie A. Dunnington, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Public Health program at UCO. She is deeply passionate about improving conditions so that ALL people can be healthy. Before coming to UCO, Dunnington worked in public health at a local nonprofit and the City-County and State Health Departments. Prior to that, she taught high school science. Now, Dunnington has joined two of her loves: public health and teaching. She is a native Oklahoman (although hopes to someday live in a forest in the mountains). When not teaching, Dunnington enjoys exploring outside, hiking, eating dark chocolate, reading, finding lost dogs and traveling with her family to national forests and parks.
