About
Dr. Weldon has been teaching at UCO for ten years, first as an adjunct and now as an associate professor in the Educational Sciences, Foundations and Research Department. Prior to her time at UCO she worked as the Director of Research and Planning for the New Mexico Higher Education Department. She loves to travel, whoop her kids in board-games, laugh with friends, work jigsaw puzzles and sip a nice glass of wine. Ask her about being slapped by a baboon!
Experience
Dr. Weldon holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in experimental psychology from UCO. She earned her doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of New Mexico. In addition to teaching her professional interests include grant writing, exploring the intersections of neuroscience and education, facilitating professional development and conducting research.
