Originally from Edmond, Oklahoma, Laura Pratt began her early ballet training with Carolyn Glasgow at Edmond School of Ballet. She went on the attain her BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of Utah. There, she enjoyed the opportunity to perform in works by nationally and internationally acclaimed choreographers such as Ma Cong,Jung Shik Roh and Jay Kim. In 2013, by invitation, Laura traveled to South Korea to perform with the Utah Ballet ensemble. After college, Laura performed for two seasons will Oklahoma City Ballet, and enjoyed many corps roles in the classics, such as Giselle, Cinderella, and Dennis Spaight's Scheherezade, and enjoyed touring to Colorado for the production of Robert Mills's The Nutcracker. Laura is now a graduate assistant at the University of Oklahoma's School of Dance, where she continues to perform, choreograph and teach.
