Important Update:

UCO has transitioned to virtual instruction until the end of the semester, Nov. 30-Dec. 23. The campus is open until Winter Break begins Dec. 23. Offices are staffed and many services are still offered in person, as well as virtually. COVID-19 protocols remain in place. Masks are required on campus when around others. Katherine Ferrell has been an academic advisor for the University of Central Oklahoma since October 2017 and began working with the College of Business in September 2018. She assists marketing, professional selling, management information systems, and operations and supply chain management majors from their sophomore year through graduation.

Katherine loves working with UCO students, having been a UCO student herself! Her main goal is to help you navigate through your academic journey. She aims to meet you where you are and help you plan your next steps forward.

Education and Certifications

Katherine Ferrell earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree in instrumental education from the University of Central Oklahoma.


Outside of work, Katherine enjoys playing video games, crocheting and making music. She has an equally artistic and nerdy husband,as well as an impressively fluffy cat. "Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved." — Pooh, Winnie the Pooh
