Consistent with revised CDC guidance, vaccinated individuals are recommended to wear a mask when in public indoor spaces where COVID-19 virus transmission is considered substantial or high. Oklahoma County is currently listed as an area of high transmission by the CDC. The CDC further recommends that unvaccinated individuals continue to wear a mask when around others indoors, regardless of their area’s rate of transmission.
Katherine Ferrell has been an academic advisor for the University of Central Oklahoma since October 2017 and began working with the Forensic Science Institute in January 2021. She assists forensic science students from their sophomore year through graduation. She also works with prospective students thinking about attending UCO who are still in high school, as well as transfer students.
Katherine loves working with UCO students, having been a UCO student herself! Her main goal is to help you navigate through your academic journey. She aims to meet you where you are and help you plan your next steps forward.
Education and Certifications
Katherine Ferrell earned her Bachelor of Music Education in instrumental education from the University of Central Oklahoma.
