About
David Broyles is a guitarist, vocalist, composer/arranger and a 20-year veteran of the music industry. He has a B.F.A. in Contemporary Music Performance from The College of Santa Fe and an M.M. in Music Composition from UCO. His work with his band Dr. Pants has been featured on several MTV programs (including “Jersey Shore”), as well as “CBS Sunday Morning” and BBC World Cup Soccer. In 2010, Dr. Pants collaborated with filmmaker Kyle Roberts on one of the first music videos shot entirely on an iPhone, “Sarsaparilla Girl.” To date it has garnered over 60,000 views on YouTube. In 2012, Dr. Pants were invited to perform a webcast concert in the bathroom of Jenny Lawson, also known as The Bloggess, author of several New York Times bestselling memoirs. The webcast was viewed by over 2,000 people and turned Dr. Pants into a worldwide trending topic on Twitter. David has also spent much of the last ten years on tour as a guitarist with his wife, award-winning Folk/Americana singer-songwriter K.C. Clifford.
