About
Dr. Barbara Carter is an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education and currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the graduate and undergraduate Early Childhood Education degree programs. She began her service as a faculty member in the department of Curriculum and Instruction in August of 2014. She comes to the University of Central Oklahoma from Oklahoma City Community College were she served as the Assistant Director of the Child Development Center and Lab School and East Texas Baptist University as an adjunct professor. Prior to that she served as a teacher and school administrator in Costa Rica and Mexico.
