About

Gary Jones was raised on a farm in northwest Oklahoma. He is married, has four children, and five grandchildren. He and his wife love to travel and spend time supporting the grandkids at stock shows and ball games.

Jones retired from the U.S. Army in 2005, after over 24 years of service, the last six years in operations and intelligence. After retiring from the military, he spent 10 years with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, two years as a Special Investigator and eight years as a Criminal Intelligence Analyst. He began teaching as an adjunct for UCO in 2013, and is currently the Coordinator of the Center for Innovative Solutions, part of UCO’s School of Criminal Justice.
