About

Shawna Ellis received her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma in 2013. She taught for the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics before beginning her appointment as an assistant professor at the University of Central Oklahoma in 2014. Her research interests focus on the development and investigation of host-guest assemblies that could be applied toward molecular machines and devices.

Loves playing with her four kids, traveling the country by RV, and reading a good book.
