Teaching Philosophy

I thoroughly enjoy teaching anatomy and physiology as I am constantly amazed at all that our bodies do. I hope to encourage my students to be enthusiastic about the human body, as most of them are working towards careers in the medical field. I believe it is important to be genuinely interested in your work, as it is something we spend so much of our lives doing. I emphasize learning for the long-run, finding ways to understand concepts so students can apply their understanding of the body outside of the classroom.
