Ronnie Williams, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Interests
My current research interests are in the field of algebraic number theory, specifically, Iwasawa theory, modular curves and modular symbols.
Education and Certifications
I received my Ph.D. under Romyar Sharifi from the University of Arizona. Prior to this, I received both my M.S. and B.S. degrees from Texas Tech University. The topic of my master's thesis was on a method of polynomial selection for use in the Number Field Sieve algorithm for factoring large integers.
