UCO has temporarily shifted most in-person classes to synchronous virtual delivery through Jan. 31. Campus facilities and services will remain open and offer in-person and virtual options. COVID-19 protocols remain in place. Masks are required on campus when around others. Students, faculty and staff who are directly exposed to or test positive for COVID-19 should fill out UCO's COVID-19 Self-Reporting form. Amy currently works as a coordinator of graphic design for the Student Affairs Marketing department at UCO. She enjoys using her design skills to inform campus and the public about events on campus that will lead to personal and professional development.
Amy has gained a lot of valuable work experience in Oklahoma. She started her career in Hobby Lobby's corporate creative department. She also has worked for Ackerman McQueen advertising, The Journal Record and Science Museum Oklahoma just to name a few. She also prided herself on being the only female web design coder at Element Fusion.
Professional and Community Involvement
Amy is very connected to the local art and design community. She has been a member of the national organization AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) for 10 years. She tries to be active at AIGAOK, Creative Mornings, Starspace 46 events and PechaKucha OKC just to name a few.
It's important to stay on top of continued education in her field in both inspiration and tricks (software) and tools of the trade.
Amy also volunteers at Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma on weekends when she can.
