Thomas Gilchrist began working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Birmingham Division in 2008 as an operational support technician while obtaining an M.S. in CIS. In 2015, he was hired by the FBI, Oklahoma City Division as a computer scientist-field operations where he is currently employed full time. Since 2018, he joined the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) as adjunct faculty working with the Forensic Science Institute.
