Thomas Gilchrist began working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Birmingham Division in 2008 as an Operational Support Technician. In 2015, Thomas was hired by the FBI, Oklahoma City Division as a Computer Scientist-Field Ops. Since 2018, Thomas joined the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) as adjunct faculty working with the Forensic Science Institute.
Education and Certifications
In 2009, Thomas Gilchrist obtained a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). In 2013, Thomas obtained a M.S.in Computer and Information Science with a Graduate Certificate in Computer Forensics from UAB. Since 2015, Thomas has achieved several IT security and forensics certifications including CompTIA's Network+, Security+, and Linux+; as well as GIAC's GREM, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GNFA, GPEN, GPYC, and GRID.
Thomas Gilchrist teaches the following courses:

- ISOM 3343 - IT Security and Risk Management
