Sara currently serves as the Events Coordinator for the Office of Advancement, which houses the UCO Alumni Association and UCO Foundation. Through her role, she coordinates the logistics for events such as conferences, meetings, special events and programs. A few of her favorite events include Splash Bash, Winterfest, and the OKC Thunder Alumni Nights. Working with the Office for Advancement’s Marketing Manager, she coordinates event-related advertising, promotional materials and annual event planning. Sara also manages the UCO Alumni & Friends event pages and online calendar.
In 2015, Sara graduated from Old Dominion University, located in Norfolk, Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (Professional Writing concentration) and a minor in Marketing. After spending three years with HDR’s Mid-Atlantic Water Business Group assisting with their marketing, proposal coordination and event planning efforts, she relocated to Oklahoma City to be closer to family.
