UCO Connected Campus Expands Fully Online Offerings to Include Master of Arts in Strategic Communications Graduate Degree

The University of Central Oklahoma has expanded access to its quality, accredited degree programs with the addition of a new fully online program through UCO’s Connected Campus. The university now offers a Master of Arts in strategic communications – leadership in communications. 

The Master of Arts in strategic communications – leadership in communications emphasizes the strong leadership skills necessary for career advancement in the ever-growing communications industry. The program can be completed in as little as two years. The online Master of Arts in strategic communications – leadership in communications can be completed for as little as $16,500.

Curriculum will focus on learning to read, conduct, understand and communicate research to support organizational goals. Students graduate equipped to address issues surrounding change, organizational culture, ethics and technology in the fast-paced and dynamic communications industry. Students will benefit from faculty with professional industry experience. 

“This new master's degree is a perfect blend of strategy, practice, theory and research for communication professionals,” said Jeanetta Sims, Ph.D., dean of the UCO Jackson College of Graduate Studies. 

"I am thrilled for our incoming students and for our graduate faculty to have a relevant, timely and unique program conveniently available online.”

Other online degrees offered through the UCO Connected Campus include the Bachelor of Business Administration in human resource management, management or marketing, the professional Master of Business Administration and the Master of Education in library media education, the Master of Public Administration in either urban management or public and nonprofit management and the Master of Science in nursing, as well as the RN to B.S. in nursing track.

UCO also offers adult degree completion programs designed for adults who have earned prior college credits and want to complete their degree. Students can earn a Bachelor of Business Administration in general business, a Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership or general studies or a Bachelor of Arts in applied liberal arts.
