UCO Ranked Among Top Universities for Online Degree Programs

The University of Central Oklahoma ranked as a top institution in the nation for providing quality, accredited online degree programs through UCO’s Connected Campus in the 2022 “America’s Top Online College” list from Newsweek. UCO ranked No. 145 and is one of only three institutions in Oklahoma on the list.

The rankings are based on a survey among U.S. residents who have used online learning services to obtain an academic degree or acquire knowledge and skills for professional or personal development.

“We are honored to be recognized for our commitment to accessible higher education with our online degree programs,” said Patti Neuhold-Ravikumar, UCO president.

“The UCO Connected Campus offers students the flexibility of earning an online degree relevant to the need of today's job market through high-quality education at a competitive price. Now, more than ever, online degree programs are becoming more prevalent. This ranking demonstrates UCO's dedication to providing students with a collaborative, interactive and personal online college experience.”

According to Newsweek, the evaluative criteria is based on enrollment, graduation statistics, research activity, organization and accessibility, support and service, cost, organizational reputation, the practical relevance of content, overall satisfaction and overall recommendation.

Online degree offerings provided through UCO’s Connected Campus include the Bachelor of Business Administration in human resource management, management or marketing, the professional Master of Business Administration and the Master of Education in library media education, the Master of Public Administration in either urban management or public and nonprofit management, Master of Arts in strategic communications and the Master of Science in nursing, as well as the RN to B.S. in nursing track.

UCO also offers adult degree completion programs designed for adults who have earned prior college credits and want to complete their degree. Students can earn a Bachelor of Business Administration in general business, a Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership or general studies or a Bachelor of Arts in applied liberal arts.
