UCO Invites Community to ‘WinterGlow’ Celebration, Dec. 2

The University of Central Oklahoma invites the community to celebrate the holiday season at its 24th annual WinterGlow from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2.

The evening of events, featuring fun and free activities for the entire family, will begin with the Broncho Lake Lighting Ceremony, located on the north side of the Nigh University Center (NUC) on Central’s campus.

Following the lighting ceremony, holiday festivities will continue with a winter carnival in the NUC. This year, Central is working with a local nursing home for its Santa Drive. In exchange for the donation of fuzzy socks, blankets and other necessities, guests can have their photo taken with Santa. Activities include arts and crafts, story time with holiday characters and holiday-themed singo, which is musical bingo.
